Text: Garten, Ina. “Rosemary Roasted Potatoes.” https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/rosemary-roasted-potatoes-recipe-1943124
Some elements of this text to consider:
- FYI a recipe is one type of instructions.
- Almost all sets of instructions have a quite narrow audience.
- If this text were to be used on a Paper 1 the IB would very likely not included all of the elements of the website as it is too “complicated.” The IB often keeps most of the main text and a few main images but removes the sidebar content and other parts of the page.
- This is quite a simple and easy to follow recipe. Before the “Ingredients” and “Directions” sections the page gives some additional important information: level of difficulty, prep time, etc.
