Text: Joachim Trier. The Worst Person in the World.
Some elements of this text to consider:
- The top of the poster includes the reference to the Cannes film festival. Certain types of movies are shown at Cannes while there is less of a chance that a mindless blockbuster will be invited. You could argue that the reference is Cannes is aimed at a more sophisticated movie viewer.
- The “worst person” in the title doesn’t seem to match the type of person (and her facial expression) shown in the poster. The incongruity will get some viewers to give the poster a second glance.
- The poster does not tell the audience much about the movie other than what is presumably the main character.
